First Birthday of First Bombardier rake!

Today, the first Bombardier rake turns one year old. It was turned out from ICF, Chennai on 1st October 2013. Sadly it is still under trials, stuck up in never ending red tape typical of Indian Government. There is no clarity as to when the rake will be in passenger service. Really sad state of affairs.

No body is least bothered about the bombardier rakes. It seems that people, MRVC, media and everyone else has totally forgotten that these rakes exist and are supposed to serve Mumbaikars at some point in time.

UPDATE: Times of India has a rather apt comparison as follows:

Mars mission took less time than Bombardier rake!
